Dear Barack Obama,

We are two girls from Barcelona who are very worried because we see our environment and there is a lot of pollution. People don’t use renewable energies, so we would like you to talk to important people. You could help them to see that using renewable energies is important and using non-renewable energies is bad. Moreover, lot of animal species are endangered because people do not use renewable energies.

Recycling

This is the first time I write something about this subject. I’ve heard something before but I’ve never thought about this until now.

I’m studying how industry works and some of them will disappear if we don’t use fossil energies, so lots of people will lose their jobs. We have to search for new energies that do not pollute the Earth and create new jobs.

In our cities, what we can do is reduce pollution and try to recycle as much as we can. To reduce pollution we have to use public transport as often as we can, or we can go cycling. To recycle, we have to separate all the waste we make at home and throw it in the right bin.

I always try to do this, but sometimes it’s easier not to do it and go by car or throw waste into the general bin.
